Parking/Unloading and Loading
It is possible to unload/load in the narrow driveway directly in front of the hotel entrance but do not park there or leave your car unattended. Unload/load and move as quickly as possible. The valet and bellman are very helpful and busy with hundreds of guests arriving at the same time. Give yourself extra time for these tasks. Thank you for your patience.
In the unlikely event that your items need the freight elevator or a loading dock, please make arrangements in advance with Pam Harrison, pharrison@gsba.com.
Parking at Savannah hotels incurs a daily fee of $7 to $50. Alternative parking options are available in nearby Savannah Public Parking and Garages within walking distance. The Hyatt offers valet parking only – $25 for 0-4 hours, $38 for 4-8 hours, and a discounted rate of $40 for overnight.
Hotel Overnight Accommodations for Businesses
Our school board members have priority booking at the host hotel, the Hyatt Regency Savannah, and it sells out quickly.
To ensure overnight accommodations, businesses should take advantage of GSBA discounts at the Hampton Inn Savannah-Historic District, which is 0.2 miles from the Hyatt at 201 East Bay Street, Savannah, GA. 31401. Map/Directions
When making your hotel reservations, indicate you are with the Georgia School Boards Association to get the special negotiated rate of $169 before 5/8/2026, the discount expiration date. Use this link to register at the Hampton Inn Savannah-Historic District or call 912.231.9700.
Other overflow hotels will be announced HERE on April 17.
Registration
Members of our GSBA Business Associates Program and GSBA Risk Management partners get a head start on registering for exhibit space, sponsorships and advertising. All others will be able to register starting Wednesday, March 25, at 10 a.m. When all spaces are sold out, email Pam Harrison, pharrison@gsba.com, and ask to be placed on the waiting list.
Select Your Own Space - New This Year!
In previous years, exhibitors registered up to three space preferences and GSBA chose the space for them.
Within this registration process, you will be able to select your space directly from the available spaces on the interactive chart.
Before you begin registering, click HERE to review the floor plan and determine potential spaces. Once you select the space within the registration process, you will have 10 minutes to complete your registration. If it times out, you will have to begin again.
Payment/Cancellation Refund Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Pam Harrison, no later than Friday, May 1, 2026 to receive a refund minus $100 fee.
No refunds will be given after May 1, 2026.
Set Up/Dismantle
Exhibitors may set up between Sunday, June 7, after 3 p.m. until Monday, June 8, 9:45 a.m.
Exhibitors should not breakdown their area completely before 12 p.m., Tuesday, June 9.
Please vacate the space before 1:30 p.m. when HostSouth, our exhibit services contractor, will pick up the furniture.

Any deliveries to the hotel address prior to 3 days before the event will be refused due to limited storage available.
All exhibitors will be responsible for their own shipping/receiving charges in addition to charges incurred through shipping provider (i.e. FedEx, UPS, etc.).
Attire
Comfortable business casual. In June, Savannah is hot and humid, with average high temperatures above 90. It's hot outside but cool inside. Bring a sweater or jacket, if you want. There may be occasional, brief afternoon showers. Comfortable shoes are important for a lot of standing and walking - especially on cobblestone and uneven sidewalks. Tuesday is Spirit Wear Day and our attendees will be dressing in their team shirts and school colors.
Optional Meals
Order optional meals in advance within the registration, please. The cutoff deadline for accepting meal registrations is May 11.
Hotel Exhibit Guidelines
Any food or beverage dispensed or given away at a booth must be approved by the Hotel. Exhibitors who distribute food and/or beverage will be responsible for providing their own liability insurance and signing a food preparation waiver. Check with Pam Harrison, pharrison@gsba.com before bringing such items or if you have any other extraordinary needs. Here are a few more of the guidelines:
Signs or Banners - No signs or banners are to be draped over or hung on the walls or second-floor bannisters.
Adhesives - No pins, tacks or adhesives of any kind are permitted on any wall, door or column.
Right to Inspect - The Hotel’s Security personnel reserves the right to inspect any carton, container, briefcase, luggage or package brought onto the premises.
Smoking – The hotel is a no smoking facility.
Tuesday Party
Come help us celebrate GSBA's 75th Anniversary in Scarbrough Ballroom from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
